Applications for the subsidized units of the building can now be submitted through the BC Housing Registry. Please apply Online.
If you have difficulties with the online process please email us for a paper form. Once you have completed the paper Housing Registry Application Form you can submit it in one of the following ways:
- Scan and Upload: using our Program Upload Form
- In person: Bring your application package to the nearest BC Housing office
- By mail: The Housing Registry, BC Housing, 101-4555 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 4V8
- By fax: 604-439-4729
If you already have an application with BC Housing you can add the Penny Lane Apartments to your profile by calling BC Housing at 604-433-2218 or Toll-free: 1-800-257-7756 Phone lines open : 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
It takes 20 business days for BC Housing to process your application to determine eligibility. You will receive an email from BC Housing with your file number. It will then take the Kaslo Housing Society several weeks to go through the secondary application process.
If you wish to apply for one of the three units that will have rents set at below local market rates, please Please email tenant@kaslohousingsociety.org and express your interest.
We have one 1-bed unit, one 2-bed unit and one 3-bed unit at market rates. A different application form will be available at a later date.
